paris day 3

We ended up sleeping in again this morning not knowing my husband's alarm was set to England time! We quickly got ourselves ready and took metro down to Concord station. Enjoyed a nice stroll through Tuileries park (It was a perfect winter-in-paris walk with naked trees, grey sky and crisp wind ) and arrived at Musee de l'Orangerie.  I like how intimate it feels at this museum even though how extra ordinary their collection is. After a very nice lunch at Le Fumoir, we walked around St-Honore, Opera, and Marais. My feet were hurting by the time we were leaving BHV, so we decided to go home for a relaxing night in but we got lucked out!... because wine shops, cheese shops, delicatessens near our apartment were all closed!  Ok so Here's our plan 2... We went back to Le Restaurant on rue Veron but just like yesterday they didn't seem to be open yet! They are definitely not in hurry here in Paris unlike in NY. Instead of walking down the hill, we decided to walk up to Rue Trois Freres to try Le Proges. I'm so glad we did! Unlucky night turned out to be a great delicious night! The waiter was nice, food was yummy, atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We wanted to enjoy the night in Montmartre a little longer, so we decided to go visit Sacre-Coeur on our way home. Wow... was it beautiful! Illuminated white basilica and wet cobblestones reflecting street light was breathtaking. Here in Paris, we  had  another beautiful night...
